Abstract:
To provide a method for producing easily and with high freedom in design a resin foam that has open cells and the cells open in surface.
The method for producing the foam includes a process of melting and blending resin material containing a thermoplastic resin, foaming agent, and soluble particle 23 having a melting point higher than that of the thermoplastic resin, and then injecting the melt to fill a cavity 13, a process of forming a resin foam 21 by foaming the resin material filled in the cavity 13 by expanding the volume of the resin, and a process of immersing the resin foam 21 into a liquid 25, that dissolves the soluble particle 23, to dissolve the soluble particle 23.
