Abstract:
To provide a method for producing sand usable as a concrete material from waste concrete.
The objective sand can be produced by roughly crushing waste concrete, finely crushing the crushed material 7 with a ball mill 2 to granules having a diameter of about ≤4 mm until the sand and gravel contained in the crushed material 7 are separated from each other and the cement is pulverized to powder to obtain a powdery product 13 containing the sand and the cement in separated state and washing the product 13 with water to remove the powdery cement almost completely from the treated product 13.
