The method for producing the silk fibroin fibers includes a process for dissolving a silk raw material to obtain a silk fibroin solution, a process for filtering the silk fibroin solution, a desalting process for desalting the silk fibroin solution obtained by the filtration, a process for spray dry-powdering the desalted silk fibroin solution to form a powder of a water-soluble silk fibroin, a process for dissolving the water-soluble silk fibroin powder obtained in the process in water to obtain an aqueous silk fibroin solution having a desired concentration, and a process for performing an electric field spinning treatment using the aqueous silk fibroin solution.
