When a sintered component having a level difference at each edge face is produced through: a powder compacting stage where the compacting of powder is performed by transfer compacting, so as to obtain a green compact; and a stage where the obtained green compact is sintered, the compacting of the powder is performed at least by the above transfer compacting using a die in which the surface of the part at which relative movement to the compressing direction occurs is coated with a solid lubricating film 30 whose friction coefficient is 0.3.
