Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a solid fuel comprising recycling various high water content sludges, which have been difficult to handle because of high water content and odor, as a solid fuel by a simple production system; and a recycle circulation system using the production method.SOLUTION: Provided is a solid fuel which can be produced even by air drying due to improved workability and drying characteristics. This is realized through improvement of handleability and increase in surface drying area, which in turn are made possible by adding and stirring a food waste such as coffee grounds and, if necessary, coagulated and sedimented sludge generated when waste water containing various emulsions and latexes are treated to high water content organic sludge, and by adding to the mixture dried granules, obtained by drying the same mixture beforehand, followed by stirring, thereby decreasing water content and, at the same time, changing a form of the mixture from sludge to particles. Also, proposed is a system which can convert high water content organic sludge generated at various places into a fuel by improving handleability thereof and by a method producible even by air drying, which in turn is made possible by adding the solid fuel to another organic sludge as an additive, thereby decreasing water content and, at the same time, changing a form of the mixture from sludge to particles. Further provided is an epoch-making recycle circulation system which enables use of high water content organic sludge which is hard to handle without transporting or a waste treatment, which in turn is made possible by using the method of producing the solid fuel, by installing equipment such as a stirring apparatus at a place (factory or the like) where high water content organic sludge is generated, producing a solid fuel at the place using the above method, and using the fuel produced at the place (factory or the like) as a fuel for a boiler and the like.
