The method for producing the spheroidal graphite cast iron includes conducting: a deoxidizing step of bringing the molten iron into contact with calcium, and making oxygen in the molten iron react with calcium to produce the oxide and deoxidize the molten iron; and a graphite-spheroidizing treatment step of bringing the deoxidized molten iron into contact with a graphite spheroidizing agent, in this order.
