Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a derivative of a substituted decalin-6-ol-1-one.
The invention relates to the method for producing the compound represented by formula (I), (in the formula, R1, R2, R3, R4 are each independently H, a 1-6C alkyl, or an aryl), comprising cyclization of a compound represented by formula (II), (in the formula, R1, R2, R3, R4 have the same meaning as the above), wherein 1-50 wt.% solution of the compound (II) is cyclized in the presence of a catalyst and the product mixture produced is subjected to a distillation treatment if necessary. The compounds are used in production of an agrochemical, a pharmacologically active ingredient, a perfume and an aromatic substance, a flavor agent, a cosmetic and a polymer.
