Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a 5-alkoxy-substituted oxazole, especially a 4-methyl-5-alkoxy-substituted oxazole and further a method for producing a pyridoxine derivative.
The method for producing the substituted oxazole is carried out as follows. An α-isocyanoalkanoic acid ester is converted into the 5-alkoxy- substituted oxazole in the presence of an assistant composed of an alcohol or an ester at >80°C. The resultant 5-alkoxy-substituted oxazole is taken out of the reactional mixture simultaneously with the conversion.
