Abstract:

To provide a method that can efficiently produce a sulfonic acid silyl ester, and a novel silicon compound.SOLUTION: A method for producing a sulfonic acid silyl ester having a Si-O-SO2 bond includes a reaction step for reacting an alkoxysilane having a Si-O-C bond with a sulfonic acid anhydride or a mixed acid anhydride of a sulfonic acid and a carboxylic acid. There is also provided a novel silicon compound. An example of the production method is illustrated by the following reaction scheme.SELECTED DRAWING: None
