Abstract:
A technique is provided in which a reaction is promoted between glass-based inorganic filler and a thermoplastic resin in an extruder, and adhesion between the glass-based inorganic filler and the thermoplastic resin is improved. The screw element piece of a screw installed inside the extruder is designed so that the apex of at least one scraper is an arc having a predetermined curvature radius when viewed in axial cross section, the predetermined curvature radius is smaller than the curvature radius of the inner wall facing the apex of the scraper in the cylinder for installing the screw, and a space is formed between the apex of the scraper and the inner wall of the cylinder.
