Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and efficiently produce a transition metal-containing silicoaluminophosphate zeolite which has high high-temperature hydrothermal durability.SOLUTION: A method is for producing a transition metal-containing zeolite that is obtained by having a zeolite, which contains a silicon atom, a phosphorus atom and an aluminum atom in at least the skeleton structure, contain a transition metal, and the method for producing a transition metal-containing zeolite is characterized by performing hydrothermal synthesis of an aqueous gel that contains a silicon atom source material, an aluminum atom source material, a phosphorus atom source material, a transition metal source material and a polyamine (excluding a diamine). The transition metal-containing silicoaluminophosphate zeolite, which is produced by hydrothermal synthesis of an aqueous gel that contains a transition metal source material and a polyamine together with a zeolite source material, exhibits high high-temperature hydrothermal durability, while having high catalytic activity.
