To provide a method of producing a unburnable decorative laminate by which a unburnable decorative laminate including inorganic base material containing magnesia cement as a principal component and a surface decorative layer with airtightness can be obtained, the unburnable decorative laminate suppressing explosive fracture due to evaporation of water contained in the inorganic base material by improving the strength of the inorganic base material.
There is provided a method of producing a unburnable decorative laminate having a surface decorative layer with airtightness on one surface side of an inorganic base material containing magnesia cement as a principal component, the method includes at least, as a step of forming the inorganic base material, a step of obtaining a molding by molding slurry including raw material components of the inorganic base material, and a step of carrying out primary curing for advancing curing reaction of the raw material components by exposing the obtained molding to a predetermined temperature and second curing, after the primary curing, for terminating the curing reaction while setting a temperature higher than the temperature of the primary curing and dissipating water in the molding, and the temperature of the primary curing being set to be 30-40°C.
