To provide a method for producing a lignin fraction product that can be used effectively for various uses.SOLUTION: A method for producing a lignin fraction product has a fractionating step wherein, by a gradient method of changing a content ratio of organic solvent and water, from a synthetic adsorbent having a lignin decomposition product adsorbed thereonto, the lignin decomposition product is at least partially eluted, so that the lignin decomposition product is fractionated into plural sections.SELECTED DRAWING: None
