Abstract:
To obtain a desired total catalytic activity of a fluidized bed and production rate in adjusting production rate of vinyl acetate in fluidized bed method by improving a method of a conventional technology.
This fluidized bed production method for vinyl acetate reacting ethylene, acetic acid and a gas including oxygen in a fluidized bed reactor at an elevated temperature in the presence of a fluidized bed of a catalyst, adjusts the total activity of the catalyst in the fluidized bed by adding the catalyst to the fluidized bed of the catalyst to adjust the activity of the added catalyst or adjusts the rate of addition of the added catalyst.
