Abstract:

To provide a method for efficiently producing a vitamin K derivative, especially menaquinone-7 (vitamin K2) derivative.

This method for producing the vitamin K2 in the first embodiment comprises culturing an Unnan SL-001 strain as one kind of Bacillus natto, and a step for obtaining the vitamin K derivative by Soxhlet extraction from the cultured biomass and/or culture liquid and precipitation by acidification.
