PURPOSE: To produce a waterproof and vapor permeable molded article, for example, a glove from copolyetherester.
CONSTITUTION: In a method for producing a waterproof and vapor permeable molded article, for example, a glove from copolyetherester, a three-dimensional mold is treated with an aqueous dispersion of copolyetherester once or several times by a method similar to a method for a latex dispersion in a rubber industry field and succeedingly heated in order to obtain a continuous film and, after cooling, a molded product is taken out of the mold. The dispersion to be used can be prepared by a method wherein a solution of copolyetherester in N-methyl pyrrolidone is preferably diluted with at least partially water miscible anti-solvent and wholly or partially replacing the liquid phase with water, dilution with water and the removal of the solvent used if so desired.
