Abstract:
To provide a technique for relatively easily producing devices to be fed by a plurality of coaxial connectors.SOLUTION: A method for producing a waveguide-to-coaxial adapter array includes the steps of: applying a solder paste to inner surfaces of a plurality of through-holes of a conductive member; inserting a plurality of coaxial connectors respectively in the plurality of through-holes from a first surface side of the conductive member so that cores of the plurality of through-holes are located respectively at the inner surfaces of the plurality of through-holes; inserting one or more fixtures including a flat surface in the plurality of through-holes from a second surface side opposite to the first surface side of the conductive member, so that the flat surfaces of the fixtures contact the cores of the plurality of coaxial connectors and that the cores of the plurality of coaxial connectors are held against the inner surfaces of the plurality of through-holes; connecting the cores of the plurality of coaxial connectors respectively to the inner surfaces of the plurality of through-holes by melting the solder paste; and disengaging the fixtures from the inner surfaces of the plurality of through-holes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
