When a terminal 50 can display map but it does not have map information, corresponding map information is read from a map data base 28 by a map information server 30. The position information of a vehicle 10 which is acquired by a vehicle position acquiring server 32 is synthesized with the map information corresponding to the position information and is transmitted to the terminal 50 that has requested the information via a terminal connecting part 22 by a reception server 24. The map and the position of the vehicle are displayed on the terminal 50. When the terminal 50 is provided with the map information, only piece of the position information of the vehicle is transmitted to the terminal 50 that has requested the information. The received position information of the vehicle is synthesized with map information of the vehicle itself and displayed on a terminal 50.
