Abstract:

To provide a method for pulverizing a food raw material in which the food raw material such as grains or beans can continuously and inexpensively be pulverized in large amounts without pretreating the food raw material or a method for pulverizing the food raw material by which pulverization and cooking treatment can simultaneously be practiced.

The method for pulverizing a food raw material comprises pulverizing the food raw material so that internal pressure generated by the food raw material in a cylinder barrel (1) on upstream side of a reverse screw becomes ≥0.2 MPa or pulverizing the food raw material so that the internal pressure becomes ≥0.2 MPa and simultaneously controlling the temperature of the cylinder barrel and carrying roasting treatment or adding water thereto and controlling temperature and extrusion pressure of the cylinder barrel and carrying out hydrolysis when pulverizing the food raw material by using a twin-screw extruder in which a kneading screw (NS1 or NS2) is adequately combined with a reverse screw (RS1 or RS2).
