Abstract:

To provide a method for purifying a soil capable of sufficiently and broadly purifying a soil that is contaminated with organic substances in purifying the contaminated soil in situ using Fenton reaction.

The method for purifying a soil is provided, wherein an injection well is provided upstream and a pumping well is provided downstream along the flow of a ground water so as to allow each well to reach a depth deeper than a level of the ground water, a gelatinizer having a quality that gelatinizes an organic substance is added to the soil from the injection well, and a ground water containing a gelatinized organic substance is pumped up from the pumping well in an objective contaminated area containing the soil contaminated with the organic substance.
