Abstract:
To provide a method for purifying a solvent with which a mixed solution of a carboxylic acid with dimethylamide is separated by distillation, and to provide an apparatus used therefor.
The method for purifying the solvent comprises distilling the solution containing the carboxylic acid and the dimethylamide. The method is characterized by comprising (a) a step of distilling the dimethylamide from the upper part of a distillation column by distilling operation under low pressure and (b) a step of distilling the carboxylic acid from the upper part of the distillation column under high pressure. The apparatus used therefor is also provided.
