Abstract:

To provide a purifying method that separates a sulfonic acid group-containing monomer, obtained by the step for mixing a fluorinated compound and a silanol compound, from an alkali metal fluoride, to obtain a high-purity sulfonic acid group-containing monomer.SOLUTION: A method for purifying a sulfonic acid group-containing monomer includes the steps of: mixing and stirring a fluorinated compound and a silanol compound; and adding a protic polar solvent to deposit and remove an alkali metal fluoride.SELECTED DRAWING: None
