Title:
METHOD FOR QUANTIFYING INORGANIC COMPONENT IN HEAT RAY SHIELDING INK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010210540
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method for quantifying an inorganic component in a heat ray shielding ink, capable of easily performing pretreatment operation for obtaining a measurement sample in a short time, using no high-risk chemicals such as deleterious substances and hazardous materials, and requiring no expensive platinum utensils and special-purpose pretreatment devices.

The method for quantifying the inorganic component in the heat ray shielding ink includes the steps of adding a predetermined amount of the heat ray shielding ink into a glass container containing a predetermined amount of alkaline borate; heating the container to an extent of not causing bumping to vaporize an organic solvent of the heat ray shielding ink; obtaining a powder sample of the alkaline borate having the residual inorganic component; uniformly mixing and crushing this powder sample, and measuring a disc-shaped molded sample prepared by pressure molding with a fluorescent X-ray analyzer.
