Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for quantizing the bin value of the histogram of an image which can represent the characteristic of color histogram so as to be adapted to the image by quantizing the bin value of the color histogram of the image (or video) in a non-equal manner on the basis of the number a color appearance frequencies.
SOLUTION: The section of the bin value of the color histogram is quantized on the basis of the number of color appearance frequencies in a non-equal manner.
