To provide a method for recovering valuables from used household electric appliance which allows economically efficient separation and recovery of valuables from the crushed used household electric appliances.
In this method for recovering valuables from used household electric appliance, valuables are recovered from among raw materials comprising primarily light waste of the used household electric appliances which are crushed and are subjected to magnetic separation and air separation treatment. This method for recovering valuables from used household electric appliance has an unraveling process of charging the raw materials into a first wet separator 10, unraveling entanglement among the raw materials themselves by applying low frequency vibrations and classifying the raw materials to first light material comprising primarily plastic and first heavy material comprising primarily metal and/or covered conductive wire and a water flow classifying process of charging the first heavy material into a second wet separator 11 which classifies the same by using an ascending flow and, further, classifying the first heavy material to a second light material comprising primarily plastic and a second heavy material comprising primarily metal and/or covered conductive wire. Therein, the first and second light material and/or the second heavy material are recycled.
