Abstract:
To provide a recovery method of valuables from used lithium ion batteries, which can relatively efficiently perform a heat treatment of the used lithium ion batteries.SOLUTION: A recovery method of valuables from used lithium ion batteries according to the present invention includes: a step of heating used lithium ion batteries that include a positive electrode and a negative electrode, and a separator arranged between the positive electrode and negative electrode and containing an organic polymer compound, and hold an electrolyte liquid containing an organic solvent on the separator, in which the step of heating is performed at a temperature of equal to or higher than a boiling point of the organic solvent contained in the electrolyte liquid and lower than a thermal decomposition temperature of the organic polymer compound.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
