Abstract:
To provide a method for recycling a polyalkylene succinate by which a monomer utilizable as a new raw material for a biodegradable plastic is obtained from the polyalkylene succinate of the biodegradable plastic.
The monomer being the new raw material of the biodegradable plastic can be obtained by adding 1-20 pts.wt. water to 1 pt.wt. polyalkylene succinate, decomposing the polymer at 200-400°C under 1-30 MPa pressure to afford the monomer, and collecting and purifying the resultant monomer. As a result, the resource is recycled and effectively utilized by efficiently recovering and reusing the monomer from the biodegradable plastic such as the polyalkylene succinate.
