Abstract:
To provide a method for recycling a taurine mother liquor for solving the problem of poor efficiency of recycling the taurine mother liquor in the prior art.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for recycling a taurine mother liquor, particularly to a method for producing the alkali metal isethionate by using the taurine mother liquor. The method includes: adding a base to the taurine mother liquor, heating to a first temperature, carrying out a hydrolysis reaction, removing ammonia produced, and evaporating and concentrating the ammonia-removed solution to obtain an alkali metal isethionate solution. When applying the method according to the present invention for the recycling of the taurine mother liquor, the taurine mother liquor can be further converted into the alkali metal isethionate solution, impurities are removed from the obtained alkali metal isethionate solution, the impurity-removed alkali metal isethionate solution is concentrated and crystallized, and the alkali metal isethionate is separated out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
