PURPOSE: To reduce the generation of NOx by a method wherein at least one kind of replacement parts, having different configurations, structures or sizes of parts with respect to the reduction of generation of NOx of combustion gas, are prepared and trial tests are repeated while incorporating these parts sequentially into a burner and a part, developing the optimum burner characteristic, is selected.
CONSTITUTION: A guide sleeve 5 is constituted so that the set position of a diameter spreading unit 6 with respect to a burner throat 2 can be regulated properly and so that the opening angle α of a diameter spreading unit 6 can be adjusted properly by operating an operating means 13. On the other hand, a secondary air whirling vane 7 is constituted so that the setting position can be adjusted properly with respect to the burner throat 2 by operating another operating means 14. Further, a tertiary air resistor 12 is constituted so that the setting position of the same with respect to the burner throat 2 can be adjusted properly by operating the other operating means 15.
