To provide a method for regenerating amine liquid, by which regenerated amine liquid having low content of SOx and NOx can be obtained by regenerating the amine liquid including gaseous CO2, SOx, NOx and another acid component with an ion exchange resin and with simple constitution and operation to selectively and efficiently remove the SOx and the NOx and further in which utilization efficiency of the ion exchange resin and a regenerating agent is high and determination of a regeneration period is easy.
The acid components in the acidic gas are absorbed by the amine liquid in an absorption tower 1, thermal decomposition of rich amine liquid is carried out in a regeneration tower 2 to emit dispersible acidic gas, a part of lean amine liquid produced by the primary regeneration is made to pass through an anion exchange resin layer 14 to carry out exchange adsorption. Passing of the lean amine liquid therethrough is continued also after becoming a breakthrough point where an acid component leaks and conductivity rises. At a secondary amine regeneration process, passing of the lean amine liquid therethrough is stopped at a point of time when the SOx or the NOx leaks and a SOx/NOx removal process for regenerating the anion exchange resin layer is performed.
