PURPOSE: To simply carry out the regeneration of a filter excellent in quality and regeneration efficiency without causing the corrosion of an apparatus or deterioration in a filter membrane by washing a specific filter with a prescribed solution of hydrogen peroxide.

CONSTITUTION: A filter 1 composed of a porous membrane made of a fluorine- based polymer such as polyvinylidene fluoride, used in a step for filtering beer and having 0.1-3.0μm pore size is washed with a 0.01-5wt.% solution of hydrogen peroxide to regenerate the filter 1 for filtering the beer. The pH in washing and regenerating the filter is preferably ≤7.
