In this method for regenerating the storage battery, the base current Ib and the square pulse current Ip with a pulse frequency of a kHz order are superimposed to form the charging current Ic with a quiescent period of T20.5 to 1 minute, and the charging time T15-10 minutes is repeated periodically. Therefore, the regenerating time of the storage battery is shortened.
