Abstract:
To provide a method for regulating an inlet raw material, in which drainage property in a wire part of a papermaking machine is improved and the degree of drainage (first path retention) is stabilized and reduction of cut paper in the wet part is carried out.
The inlet raw material is continuously or intermittently measured by a freeness-measuring machine 14 and the measured value is defined as an apparent inlet freeness value and the inlet freeness value is used as index which correlates with the degree of drainage and amounts of a coagulating agent and a flocculating agent added in a step for preparing papermaking raw material are controlled based on the apparent inlet freeness to stabilize the degree of drainage.
