Abstract:

To provide a method of reinforcing the mounting surface, mounting bolt holes, and mounting nut bearing surfaces of an aluminum wheel, capable of reducing a weight and increasing a production efficiency, in the aluminum wheel for trucks and buses.

In the aluminum wheel for trucks and buses, shot peening is performed after the center hole of the aluminum wheel of which the casting and heat treatment processes are finished, the mounting surface of the aluminum wheel onto an axle, mounting bolt holes, and mounting nut bearing surfaces are machined, and then necessary portions excluding the mounting surface of the aluminum wheel onto the axle, mounting bolt holes, and mounting nut bearing surfaces are machined on the center hole basis.
