Abstract:

To provide a method for obtaining a polymer solution of a sufficiently lowered metallic component content by effectively removing a metallic component from a polymer solution by a simple additional step.

The method for removing the metallic component from the polymer solution comprises bringing a polymer solution containing a metallic component and (A) an adsorbent comprising a mercapto-containing metal oxide into contact with each other.
