Title:
METHOD FOR REMOVING NITROGEN OXIDE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63291628
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent deterioration of the activity of a catalyst and to enhance durability thereof by incorporating titanium oxide, a component active in the reaction for removing nitrogen oxide and metallic sulfate having water of crystallization.

CONSTITUTION: This catalyst incorporates titanium oxide as a first component, oxide and/or sulfate of V, Cr as a second component and furthermore about 1W30wt.% especially preferably about 5W15wt.% sulfate of one more kinds of metals selected from among Al, Mg and Mn as a third component and the atomic ratio of Ti and the metallic component of the second component is regulated to a range within about 99:1W70:30. The temp. for performing denitrating reaction by using this catalyst is preferably regulated to the temp. not lower than about 150°C and not higher than 600°C. Thereby exhaust gas incorporating large amounts of compd. of volatile metal such as Se, As wherein the conventional denitration catalyst is remarkably deteriorated and can not be applied therefore can be treated and also the amount of this catalyst to be used can be reduced.
