Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the simple method for repairing the disconnection which can easily repair the disconnected part within a narrow space in order to produce the liquid crystal display device having high display quality at a good yield. CONSTITUTION:An anisotropic conductor 21 is provided in an area including disconnected electrode terminals 10 when the electrode terminals are disconnected. A tape 22 for repair patterned and formed with conductive parts 24 at the pitch equal to the pitch for forming the electrode terminals is superposed thereon from above. After the conductive parts and the respective electrode terminals in the area are aligned, a press welding head 25 is pressed to the outside surface of the tape for repair to conduct both ends of the disconnected electrode terminals via the conductive particles 21b and conductive parts in the anisotropic conductor.
