PURPOSE: To recover a composite material as usable stock by applying centrifugal force to molten metal, slantingly collecting the composite material included in the molten metal in one direction by the difference in specific gravity, thereafter executing solidification and separating the part of the slantingly collected composite material.
CONSTITUTION: A composite material is melted by heating to the m.p. or above of a matrix alloy in a crucible 22. The crucible 22 is charged to a bucket 20. By driving a driving motor 12, a rotary frame 3 is rotated. Each bucket 20 suspended therefrom is rotated to apply centrifugal force to the molten metal in the charged crucible 22. By this method, the included composite material is slantingly collected in one direction by the difference in specific gravity and is thereafter solidified. The part of the slantingly collected composite material is separated. In this way, the method for reproducing a composite material can be offered.
