Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, with which the swelling of steelmaking slag can be restrained even in the case of executing no aging treatment.
SOLUTION: The restraining method of the swelling of the steelmaking slag comprises mixing silica-containing material having latent hydraulic property or pozzolanic reactivity into the steelmaking slag having ≤1 wt.% fluorine content. Then, this restraining method of the swelling of the steelmaking slag is executed so that the mixing ratio of the silica-containing material having the latent hydraulic property or the pozzolamic reactivity is ≥1 wt.%.
