METHOD FOR RETRAINING FRESHNESS OF PERISHABLES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6427429
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To retain freshness for a long period, by exposing perishables to a finely sprayed solution containing an extract of a theaceous or lauraceous plant.

CONSTITUTION: For example, about 250g dried powder of leaves collected from theaceous tea plants and about 600ml isopropanol are charged into a Soxhlet extractor and refluxed while heating for about 20hr. Raw material residues are then removed from the resultant extract solution and the filtrate is concentrated to dryness under reduced pressure.
