Abstract:
To obtain a pickled skin without irregularity in gloss by rolling a hot-rolled steel strip under high pressure before pickling and reducing a pickling load.
When the hot-rolled steel strip 1 on the surface of which scale 3 is stuck is cold-rolled before pickling, the speed of the hot-rolled steel strip on the outlet side of roll bite is expressed by Vout, the circumferential speed of a work roll 2 by VR and the forward slip ratio which is defined by (Vout/VDR-1)×100(%) is adjusted to ≤5%. Then, because the hot-rolled steel strip 1 is brought into contact with the rolls 2 through scale layers 3, surface regions having high glossiness same as a cold-rolled steel strip are not generated.
