Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel pit face front investigation method that enables a timing for executing an investigation to be set in a wider range.SOLUTION: There is provided a pit face front investigation method by reflective wave earthquake investigation during a tunnel construction with NATM construction method. The pit face front investigation method includes a strike investigation step B in which, after installing a vibration receiving sensor 28 in at least one of a sensor installation hole 14 or a supporting formed in a tunnel pit wall at a predetermined distance rearward from the pit face, the pit face 12 is struck with a construction machine 16 disposed in vicinity of the pit face 12 and a vibration that propagates in rock mass due to the striking is measured with a vibration receiving sensor 28.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
