Abstract:
To provide a method for clarifying a cell surface marker specific to a liver stem cell and identifying and separating the liver stem cell with the marker.
This method for identifying and separating a liver cell precursor cell having multi-potency is characterized by including a process for detecting a sugar chain specifically expressed in the liver stem cell. Lectin or an antibody can be used for detecting the sugar chain specifically expressed in the liver stem cell. The liver cell precursor cell having the multi-potency can be separated by selecting the cell whose expressed sugar chain is detected. The separated cell is useful for regenerative remedies and genetic remedies.
