PURPOSE: To separate an azeotropy mixture from a close boiling point mixture by passing a mixture of a refrigerating machine oil and a plurality of kinds of refrigerant where the refrigerant component has a liquid or gas-liquid phase through a polymer film thereby making the compositional ratio of a refrigerant variable.
CONSTITUTION: A separator 101 is partitioned into high and low pressure side spaces a, b by a polymer film 103 formed by spreading a benzene solution of dimethyl silicon on the water to form an ultrathin film and then transferring it to a porous polypropylene film. When a mixture of refrigerants R-22, R-13 and a refrigerating machine oil is fed from the supply side piping 105 of the separator 101, only a specified component in the mixture permeates the film 103 due to the pressure difference between the spaces a, b and a mixture having high compositional ratio of refrigerant R-22 is obtained from the permeating side piping 107. A mixture having high compositional ratio of refrigerant R-13 is obtained from the outlet side piping 106. According to the arrangement, separation speed of mixture refrigerant can be enhanced.
