PURPOSE: To separate waste automobile parts into resin members and metal members without deteriorating them so as to reclaim waste parts efficiently, by immersing the waste automobile parts in a specific aqueous chloride solution.

CONSTITUTION: The concentrate is made up of 60W75pts.wt. methylene chloride (A), 20W30pts.wt. nonionic surface active agent (B) and 3W8pts.wt. water and paraffin (C) for sealing a liquid surface, and the concentrate is mixed with water in a ratio of about 1W15:100 to prepare the aqueous chloride solution to be used. Waste parts of automobiles (e.g. side visors, and door moldings) comprising composite parts including resin parts and metal parts are immersed in the aqueous alkaline solution above at room temperature for 30min or more to separate them from each other to be reclaimed.
