Title:
METHOD FOR SETTING COLOR CORRECTION FUNCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3843170
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optimum color correction function that corresponds to an input signal by adjusting its function that corrects an input signal so that the chromaticity of an output signal at an image output device which is acquired based on an input signal may coincide with the chromaticity of a color chart.
SOLUTION: A color image input-output system consists of a digital camera 2, a color processor 4 which performs color processing including color correction to input signals R, G and B which are supplied from the camera 2 and an image output device 6 which outputs a desired color image based on output signals C, M, Y and K which are undergone color processing. The camera 2 read a color chart whose chromaticity is known after adjusting gray balance of an output signal of the device 6 against an input signal. A color correction function that corrects the input signal is adjusted so that the chromaticity of the output signal of the device 6 which is acquired based on the input signal may coincides with the chromaticity of the color chart.
