Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an easily finely adjustable method for setting time gain and an ultrasonic imaging apparatus.
SOLUTION: In this method for setting time gain, when a plurality of gain values are respectively set at a plurality of points t1-t6 on the time axis by a plurality of manual setting tools 522-532 for providing setting values in accordance with the positions of manually operated movable parts and a time gain characteristic of an echo receiving is set based on a plurality of the gain values, fine adjustment of the time gain characteristic is performed under a condition where the amt. of changing in the gain values to the amt. of movements of the movable parts of the manual setting tools.
