Abstract:
To provide a method for shaping a cellulosic fiber-containing cloth, which can give an excellent shaping property to the cloth and further give excellent washing resistance to the shaped cloth in excellent workability, and to provide the cloth having the excellent shaping property.
The method for shaping the cloth is characterized by having a process for impregnating 100 pts.wt. of the cloth containing ammonia-treated cellulosic fibers in an amount of ≥50 wt.% with 10 to 300 pts.wt. of an aqueous solution containing an alkali compound in an amount of 0.01 to 5 wt.% and then heating and shaping the cloth at 50 to 200°C. The shaped cellulosic fiber- containing cloth is processed by the method for shaping the cloth.
