Abstract:
To provide a circuit, which is not complex, driving a pulse type arc lamp so that optical pulses having a profile of arbitrary intensity are generated.
The method actuates an arc lamp. The method includes a step in which primary power supply pulses are introduced into the arc lamp so that the flow of primary current is induced in the arc lamp. It also comprises a step for inducing flow of currents in the arc lamp, in which at least one secondary voltage pulse is introduced into the arc lamp before the current substantially attenuates.
