Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simulating a three-phase electric motor using a load emulator.SOLUTION: A load emulator (1) includes switching means (15). With the switching means (15), an emulator power electronic device (5) can be disconnected with high resistance from power supply terminals (3), and with the switching means (15), the emulator power electronic device (5) can be connected with low resistance to the power supply terminals (3). The power supply terminals (3) are connected to one another through a high-resistance resistor circuit network (16). In order to simulate selected operating states of an electric motor, the emulator power electronic device (5) is disconnected with high resistance from the power supply terminals (3) using the switching means (15), or the emulator power electronic device (5) that has already been disconnected with high resistance from the power supply terminals (3) are connected with low resistance to the power supply terminals (3) using the switching means (15).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
